Alison Krauss har en låt som heter Jacobs Dream. Det är en av dom vackraste musikstycken jag någonsin har hört.
Låten är i hederlig Amerikansk Sing and Songwriter anda.
Den handlar om en sann berättelse om två pojkar som gick vilse i en liten stad i USA.
Dom skulle efter sig pappa som gått iväg för att jaga. I stället gick dom vilse bland bergen och hittades döda.
Men det finns detaljer i den här berättelsen som adderar flera dimensioner till låten. Det ena är att staden det hände i var en stad som är känd för sina frireligiösa sekter.  En man vid namn Jacob hade en dröm, där han återkommande i två nätter såg pojkarna på en plats som hans fru sedan visste var. Hon i sen tur ledde alla som letade till den plats där pojkarna hittades döda. Folk anklade Jacob för att vara besatt av djävueln. Underbar låt, Alison Krauss sjunger så man har svårt att hålla tårarna tillbaka.

For two more nights the dream returned this vision sent from God

a thousand men had searched in vain the west side of pop's creek
But Jacob's wife knew of this place and said to travel east

And found the boys cold and still beneath the old birch tree
